Tuktawayin B&B  gardens contain an interesting mix of colours and textures throughout the growing season.  Our bed and breakfast guests are invited to wander around these tiered gardens or sit on the covered porch and simply enjoy the view.

These gardens were started in the 1990′s, extended a bit through tiers on the hill toward the end of the 1990′s and then fully developed when the house renovations were completed in 2006.

They are filled with hardy perennials that will survive the Muskoka seasons  and then topped off with annuals, many of which are grown from seed, to fill in the gaps.  It is a casual rather than a formal garden where we strive to achieve a pleasant mix of colour and texture throughout the season.

The gardens in this photo are on the roadside of the property.  The waterfront gardens contain similar perennials and are soon to be rebuilt.
